Halo 3 is a 2007 first-person shooter game developed by Bungie for the Xbox 360 console. The game was then a massive success but it left its PC users speculating when or if, they'll ever get to play Halo 3 on their gaming Rigs, or potato PC in my case.
Halo 3 Getting Released on PC
Halo 3 was a true masterpiece in the past days, many fans are waiting impatiently for the game to release on PC as a teaser trailer revealed that we're getting this game soon on PC. The release date was also revealed, and that is July 14.
Release Date of Halo 3
The release date is July 14, 2020. As of now, you'll be able to get your hands on the game in 24 hours.
Where can players buy it?
Players will be able to buy Halo 3 on the Microsoft Store or Steam, and it will be available for free as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC subscriptions. Halo 3 will sit alongside Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo: Reach on PC, with 343 Industries promising to release Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 later.
The third installment in the Halo franchise, the game concludes the story arc begun in 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved and continued in 2004's Halo 2. Halo 3's story centers on the interstellar war between twenty-sixth century humanity, a collection of alien races known as the Covenant, and the alien parasite Flood.
Halo 3 is the final chapter in the original trilogy of Halo games. Halo 3’s multiplayer was a popular part of the game, and it included a forge editing mode that allowed players to manipulate where weapons and vehicles were placed on a map.
The date was announced by way of a new teaser video for this now-13-year-old game, which reminds us that the new edition is "optimized for PC." Microsoft confirms that the original 11 missions and 24 maps are intact for this port, on top of all of the Master Chief Collection extras and fixins. Currently the collection has Halo 1 + 2 and Reach.
As a reminder, we'll see more of Halo Infinite this month on July 24 during the Xbox stream.
