Few characters outside of the Mortal Kombat 11 universe come to mind when you think about its merciless world. But few have been anticipated by the fans of the series to be included in the bloody and brutal world of Netherealm’s Mortal Kombat. And the fans finally get to have their wish granted
Ed boon and actor Keith David took to the stage to reveal the new trailer for the character Spawn during the Netherealm’s Final Kombat Finals 2020.
Mortal Kombat 11’s Spawn gameplay trailer.
Spawn was the last character of the Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack to be revealed. Tho the data mining folks say otherwise. He has been widely anticipated and a wished-for character among the fans of the Mortal Kombat series and now they get to see him in all his bloody glory voiced by non-other then Keith David himself who also voiced the character in the Todd MacFarlane’s Spawn.
Being a government assassin who met his demise through betrayal and then reborn with a suit that can spawn chains that can be controlled and can rip the flesh of someone’s bones and a deadly cape to back that up, Spawn is as brutally fit for this world as a fictional character can possibly be.
Spawn can be seen utilizing his chains as attacks along with his cape. The chains appear to have a good range so they can act as good keep out tools or whiff punish tools. He can also use guns so there's that. His fatal blow and fatality are as brutal as you’d expect from a dead assassin who’s been to hell and back and utilizes his cape, chain and a lot of guns.
With a new Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Kast scheduled for March 11, we’ll be seeing more gameplay of Spawn soon and additional costumes for the rest of the cast. Spawn is available in early access on March 17 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One and will be available for everyone on March 24.
