Crucible, Amazon's free-to-play team-based shooter is available on Steam now!!!

Crucible is the newly released title from Amazon's Game Studio and i won't be surprised if you haven't heard of this game coming out. Here's the release trailer of the game released a while ago. It is to be noted that the game is officially only avaible in North America but gamers interested in the game will be able to play that game soon as stated by the developers.

So what is Crucible?!

The last time the world heard from Amazon's Game Studio about Crucible was a very long time ago and then they went into complete silence. From what we were told about the game when it was first being developed was that it was a Battle Royal esque game.

But now that the game has been released, it is nothing like what the game was going to be. Which isn't new or surprising as games go through a lot of changes as they're being developed and it would seem they realised that the Battle Royal type of games are not in demand as they were some time ago.

So what is crucible like now? As stated on their own website "Crucible is a free-to-play team-based action shooter driven by the choices you make. Choose from a diverse roster of aliens and humans and then work with teammates to hunt opponents, take down hostile creatures, and harvest Essence". Amazon Game Studio's Crucible is a team-based hero shooter similar to Blizzard Overwatch and Riot's Valorant (Minus the whole Counter strike thing of course). Yet Crucible also blends in some third-person battle royale mechanics of games like PUBG and Fortnite.
