Common issues you might run into and how to solve them!

You might encounter the following common issues after installing a game and how to solve them.

Turn Off Anti-virus

Be sure to turn off Anti Virus before starting a game download to avoid any false positives that might affect the game's download or installation process.

  1. Turn off Windows Defender from the Control Panel.
  2. Turn off antivirus like Avast, Avira or Mcafee etc., from Taskbar.
  3. These steps should have been done before starting downloads.

Check if the game is compatible with your system.

Make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements. Crashes in-game, freezes and black screens are usually caused by low-end computers, outdated drivers, and missing files.

Missing DLL file errors.

If the game fails to launch due to missing DLL files or any other files, disable your antivirus/windows defender and check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder in the game’s installation folder, and be sure to install all the required software in those folders: DirectX, vcredist, DotNet, etc.

If none of these work for you, you can leave a comment on the game that's giving you the issue, and we'll be sure to help you.
