The Diskless Xbox X and One S discontinued!!

Microsoft has officially stopped the production of its Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition gaming consoles ahead of the Xbox Series X launch.

So if you want an Xbox One X or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, your time to buy is now. Microsoft is discontinuing both consoles to clear house for the Xbox Series X, the company's next-generation console launching this fall.

A Microsoft’s spokesperson stated to The Verge in a statement,

“As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we’re taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition.”

However, the Regular Xbox One S will still be on sale globally.

This is not entirely new as the rumours of Microsoft’s Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-digital Edition getting discontinued has already surfaced last week on a Reddit post by an employee who works at Target retail store. The employee claimed that the internal listing shows all the Xbox models are marked as discontinued in the store’s internal database.

Amazon has also started showing a "Discontinued" tag in front of all the Xbox listings and is either showing limited stocks or selling the renewed version of the console.

Xbox gamers excited about the future of the console probably expected this day would come, and are likely more interested in next Thursday than today's news. Microsoft's revealing its big Xbox Series X games at a July 23 event, to counter Sony's PS5 event.
