Watch Dogs Legion - An upcoming watch Dogs game

Watch Dogs Legion is an upcoming action adventure game published by Ubisoft, developed by Ubisoft Toronto. As the third instalment in the Watch Dogs series, it is the sequel to Watch Dogs 2. 

The game is set within a fictionalised representation of London, designed as an open world, and is playable from a third person perspective. It features the ability to control multiple characters that can be recruited across the game's setting and who can be permanently lost during the course of a playthrough. The game will also feature a cooperative multiplayer that will allow up to four players to work together.

Developement of Watch Dogs Legion

Watch Dogs: Legion is being developed by Ubisoft Toronto, with additional work being provided by sister studios of Ubisoft named Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Kiev and Ubisoft Reflections. The developement has been going on for long. The game was first announced at E3 2019, later, the plans were changed a bit to late 2020 release. 

Currently, the game is to come out on PS5, PS4, Windows, Google Stadia & Xbox consoles and this will happen in 2020, no specific date yet.

Gameplay of Watch Dogs Legion

Ubisoft promises that each character has a persistent schedule and backstory and you can recruit them to the hacker group DedSec by convincing them to fight criminals, a corrupt private military corporation, and an oppressive surveillance state amidst a collapsed government.

Once a character is recruited into the player's roster, they are assigned to one of three classes: combat, stealth or hacking. Each class features its own set of tools and ability upgrades when a character levels up from completing missions and activities. Each character also has their own background which dictates a special skill or trait they have.

One unique feature about Watch Dogs: Legion is that there isn't a main character. Players will be able to play as any character as they want and work to recruit that character to join DedSec. Each random character will have a unique set of skills and their own backstory that will play into how they contribute to the resistance.

Players can also join a team of up to four players in cooperative gameplay, sharing progression between single player and multiplayer modes

Release Date of Watch Dogs Legion

Watch Dogs Legion has been delayed to an unknown time in 2020 or 2021, according to Ubisoft CEO in late 2019. We don't know when we'll get to see it in action, the pre-orders have begun tho. You can look for PS4 copies on Amazon.

The requirements go high as soon as the name Open world touches the game. Though nicely optimized, you'll need decent specs to stabely run the game. The specs below are proposed, actual specification/requirements might differ.
