ADR1FT is an immersive First Person Experience (FPX) that tells the story of an astronaut in peril. Floating silently amongst the wreckage of a destroyed space station with no memory and a severely damaged EVA suit slowly leaking oxygen, the only survivor struggles to determine the cause of the catastrophic event that took the lives of everyone on board.
The player fights to stay alive by exploring the wreckage for precious resources and overcomes the challenges of an unforgiving environment to repair the damaged EEV and safely return home.
The game is played from a first-person perspective. Players control Commander Oshima as she floats and maneuvers through the zero-gravity environment of the destroyed space station.
The environment is open for exploration, but players are limited by their oxygen supply. They must collect oxygen tanks scattered throughout the station to avoid running out and suffocating.
One of the game's unique aspects is the weightlessness and disorientation that comes with moving in zero gravity. The game uses physics to simulate how Oshima would move in space, and this can take some time to get used to.
