Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II Gameplay

• Players take charge of one of five heroes, navigating through dungeons, battling monsters, and undertaking quests.
• Combat unfolds in real-time, emphasizing melee strikes, ranged attacks, and magical spells.
• Characters earn experience points to progress in levels, enhancing their stats (strength, intelligence, wisdom, dexterity, constitution, charisma) and gaining access to new abilities and spells.
• The game presents over 80 challenging levels to explore. Progression is semi-linear, allowing most main quests to be approached in varied sequences within a defined set of quests.
• Hidden areas, unlockable secret characters (including Drizzt Do'Urden and Artemis Entreri), as well as hundreds of items are waiting to be discovered.
• Customization of items is possible through crafting magical weapons and armor with runestones and gems to boost their capabilities.
• Four levels of difficulty are available: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme (which unlocks after completing the game once). The Extreme mode acts as a New Game Plus.
• Local co-op multiplayer allows two players to share the same screen, with experience and treasure distributed equally in cooperative play.
