BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls is the first major console game in the franchise in over a decade. Instead of the chaotic arena format seen in other anime fighters, it emphasizes one-on-one, grounded duel battles that feel tactical, cinematic, and true to the manga’s swordplay.

Every fight revolves around reading your opponent’s intentions, countering precisely, and unleashing devastating spiritual techniques. Players can transform mid-fight into powerful forms such as Bankai, Shikai, and Resurrección, each dramatically altering playstyle and visual presentation.

• Reishi Gauge (health) + Konpaku Count (lives) mechanics: you must deplete the opponent’s Reishi and then use a special finisher (Kikon Move) to remove a Konpaku.
• Awakening states: characters can transform (Bankai/Shikai/Resurrección) via the Fighting Spirit Gauge, gaining enhanced abilities and access to powerful moves.
• Reverse Actions: Defensive/offensive maneuvers (Soul Reverse, Chain Reverse, Burst Reverse) that allow players to shift momentum.
