Story of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires

The story of Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a historical novel about the political and military struggles of the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history. The game features several different scenarios, each with its own unique story and objectives. Players can choose to play as one of the three main factions: Wei, Shu, or Wu.

Empire Mode

The Empire Mode is a new mode in Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires that allows players to create their kingdom and rule over it. Players can build cities, recruit officers, and wage war against other kingdoms. The Empire Mode also features several new features, such as the ability to marry and have children.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires Gameplay

Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires features the same hack-and-slash gameplay as previous titles in the series, but with a focus on strategy and management. Players can choose to play as one of over 80 characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, each with their own unique weapons, special skills, and combos. The game also features a new character named Xun Yu, who is an officer in the Cao Wei Dynasty.

When starting the game for the first time, the language setting will be set automatically according to that of your Steam client, as below.

• Steam client: English → In-game language: English
• Steam client: Japanese → In-game language: Japanese
• Steam client: Chinese-traditional → In-game language: Chinese-traditional
• Steam client: Other than the above → In-game language: English

When you set the display language in the game library, you can change the language you want to use and load the saved data.

• In the Game Library, right-click the game title and choose "PROPERTY"
• Choose the "LANGUAGE" tab and select the language you want to use from the pull-down menu.

If the language still cannot be set to the language of your choice, please follow the procedures below.

• In the Game Library, right-click the game title and choose "PROPERTY"
• After selecting the "LOCAL FILES" tab, click on "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES"
