Overview of Hyperdimension Neptunia: Re; Birth Trilogy

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 1 is an enhanced remake of the original Hyperdimension Neptunia. Re; Birth 1 implements many changes from the release of the initial title, including new music, voice acting, and systems borrowing from mk2 and Victory, the most noticeable of which is the dungeon layouts and battle system. Rather than the traditional standing line-up battles in the original title, Re; Birth uses the free-movement combat system introduced in mk2, along with Victory EXE Gauge. The original method of traveling between continents (via scheduled transports) has also been removed, along with specific characters from the original game, such as Gust and Nisa.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2 features a new selection of playable characters. And Similar to the previous remake, Re; Birth 1, it utilizes the same battle system from Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and the Remake System. It also features an improved framerate performance from its predecessor and newly reworked and tweaked voice acting, music, and visuals. In addition, characters Red, Cave, 5pb., the four Oracles from the continents, and Maker characters from Victory reappearance in the remake.

It takes place after the events of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2: Sisters Generation in an alternate dimension to Gamindustri in 1989.
