Dr. Eggman is an evil genius scientist with an IQ of over 300 who plans to conquer the world and establish his Eggman Empire. To obtain even more power, he searches for the Chaos Emeralds along with his mighty robot army.

Always trying to get an edge on his opponents, Fang has fine-tuned his beloved vehicle, the Marvelous Queen, once again for this adventure.
Trip is a mysterious girl who is first encountered by Fang on the Northstar Islands. She is donned from head to toe in heavy armor, the weight of which seems to contribute to her clumsiness. Dr. Eggman and Fang force her to guide them through this uncharted land.
