Multiply, swim up waterfalls, change form, and more with the powers of the Chaos Emeralds. Emerald Powers can be unlocked by collecting Chaos Emeralds.
There are a variety of different abilities some allow you to create clones during battle, climb up waterfalls, dash through the air, and more! Find new ways of clearing each stage using these powers!
For the first time in a Sonic game, play through the entire campaign with up to 3 other players with drop-in and drop-out 4-player Local Co-op.
Compete locally or online with up to 8 players in the all-new Battle Mode!
In Sonic Superstars Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will appear alongside Sonic as playable characters. Use their unique abilities to face off against arch-nemesis Dr. Eggman and Fang. In addition, expect to use your abilities to face off against a never-before-seen new enemy!
What’s more, Naoto Ohshima, the designer of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, will be interested in the production to help bring a colourful cast of characters to this new Sonic game!
The fastest hedgehog to ever live! Sonic travels the world at supersonic speed while taking down anything that poses a threat to his friends, peace, and nature. While he'd prefer to relax with his pals, there's no way he could ever overlook Dr. Eggman's evil schemes!
Tails is a highly-motivated genius mechanic who also pilots Sonic's plane, the Tornado! He can fly by spinning his two tails like propellers. Tails is the best sidekick Sonic could ask for!
Amy is a cheerful and energetic pink hedgehog who has a strong sense of justice and a kind heart. She punishes those who pick on the weak with her gigantic Piko Piko Hammer!
Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald on Angel Island and the last surviving member of his clan. He can smash enemies with his powerful spiked knuckles, climb up walls, and glide! Though he can be a bit hardheaded at times, he's an honourable and reliable ally!
Dr. Eggman is an evil genius scientist with an IQ of over 300 who plans to conquer the world and establish his Eggman Empire. To obtain even more power, he searches for the Chaos Emeralds along with his mighty robot army.
A jerboa known as Fang the Hunter. This nimble bounty hunter is always on the lookout for his next big score. As a wanted criminal, he's gone by many different names over the years.
Always trying to get an edge on his opponents, Fang has fine-tuned his beloved vehicle, the Marvelous Queen, once again for this adventure.
Trip is a mysterious girl who is first encountered by Fang on the Northstar Islands. She is donned from head to toe in heavy armour, the weight of which seems to contribute to her clumsiness. Dr. Eggman and Fang force her to guide them through this uncharted land.
