Overview of Teardown

Plan the ideal robbery by combining innovative problem-solving, sheer force, and anything else you can think of. Teardown is set in a completely destructible and truly interactive environment where player choice and emergent gameplay are the primary mechanics.

Destroy barriers using explosives or vehicles to create shortcuts that no one expected to exist. Stack items, construct structures, or make use of floating objects. Prepare to run by taking your time to build the most efficient path across the level.

An alert goes off as soon as you pick up your first target, and the heat is turned up. Run, leap, drive, slingshot, or anything else you need to do to gather all of the targets and get away before security comes.

Teardown Gameplay

Campaign

You start taking employment from some more or less unscrupulous individuals since your firm is under pressure from mounting debt. You'll soon find yourself knee-deep in a cauldron of vengeance, treachery, and insurance fraud.

Starting with some more or less legal jobs, you quickly find yourself stealing vehicles, destroying buildings, blowing up safes, and other criminal activities. Search for hidden riches spread across the surroundings to add to your growing arsenal of tools.

Sandbox

Play around with the tools you've unlocked in the various locations. You have unlimited resources and a large number of vehicles in this mode. There is no pressure, only enjoyment.

Challenges

Experiment with different game types to see how good you are. As you continue through the campaign, more tasks become available.

Modding

Teardown has a built-in level editor, Lua scripting, and Steam Workshop integration, as well as significant mod support. Create your own sandbox areas, mini games, tools, and vehicles, or check out community-made modifications.
