New Mechanics and Returning Characters

Rage Arts returned for Tekken 8, and the developers replayed Paul Phoenix's Rage Art from the latest trailer. Murray confirmed that Paul Phoenix's signature outfit from previous games would return. Most fans are curious about the new Heat system depicted in Tekken 8.

Certain moves and conditions will initiate the Heat system in combat, but more details will be announced later. In addition, TEKKEN 8 will feature exciting new gameplay focused on "Aggressive" tactics.

Story of Tekken 8

The narrative picks up after the events of Tekken 7, where Heihachi Mishima was finally defeated. Kazuya Mishima, now openly embracing his devil form, continues his pursuit of global domination through G Corporation. Jin Kazama, burdened by his own Devil Gene, aims to defy his fate and put an end to his father's reign of terror and the destruction it brings to the world.

The story mode, "The Dark Awakens," features cinematic cutscenes and over-the-top battles, further exploring the complex relationships and motivations of the characters. The game also marks the return of Jun Kazama, Jin's mother, after a long absence, adding another layer to the family drama.

Continuation from Tekken 7

Set six months after Tekken 7, the fight is reminiscent of the final battle between Kazuya and his father, Heihachi, but Harada aims to surprise the audience. Jin wants to kill Kazuya to end the chaos from their lineage, as his father keeps causing chaos in the world.
