Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a 4-player co-op action game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world. Sequel to the critically acclaimed Vermintide, Vermintide 2 is the latest installment in a franchise best known for its intense and bloody first-person melee combat.

Overview of Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Following the events of the first game, the five Heroes of Ubersreik have been captured by the Skaven Grey Seer Rasknitt. Without their interference, the city of Ubersreik has fallen. Rasknitt orchestrates a dark pact between the Skaven Clan Fester and the Rotbloods, a Chaos warband dedicated to Nurgle, the Chaos God of disease and decay.

The heroes escape and must work together with their allies, Franz Lohner and Olesya Pimenova, to stop the combined forces of Skaven and Chaos from overwhelming the land. Their journey takes them through various war-ravaged locations as they attempt to thwart the enemy's plans and ultimately confront Rasknitt.

Our five heroes have returned to take on an even greater threat than before - the combined forces of a ruinous Chaos army and the swarming Skaven horde. The only thing standing between utter defeat and victory is you and your allies. If you fall - so too will the Empire.
