Overview of Wave Break

Set in the vibrant and retro-inspired world of the 1980s, Wave Break follows the story of a group of anthropomorphic animal characters who are all professional surfers. Their peaceful surfing life is disrupted when an evil corporation takes over their beloved island, and their once-pristine waves become polluted. The surfers must take on the corporation and their minions in fierce shootouts while riding the waves.

Wave Break Gameplay

In this multiplayer game, you can choose to play solo or team up with friends in online matches. The main objective of the game is to navigate through challenging levels while shooting down enemies and pulling off stunts in mid-air. Packed with high-speed boats, rail grinds, and epic combo moves, Wave Break offers a unique and thrilling gameplay experience.

Each character in the game has its unique skills and abilities, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. You can also customize your character with different outfits, boards, and weapons, giving you a chance to showcase your style while taking down your opponents.

In Wave Break, the main characters are anthropomorphic animals. This is a bear, a raccoon, a crocodile, and others. They wear human clothes and accessories, communicate with each other, and participate in competitions. Each protagonist has a small boat, which they use as a skateboard, performing tricks: ollies, nollies, kickflips, slides, grabs, etc.. Both the character and the vehicle can be changed in the customization mode: repaint the boat, add stickers to it, and buy a new outfit for the hero.

All competitions in Wave Break take place on the water. The athlete will train in a flooded skatepark. To perform a trick, you need to jump and press 1 key or a combination of them. Example: for a kickflip, it is enough to hold down the left arrow while jumping.

After an unsuccessful trick, the protagonist may fall off the boat. To get back behind the wheel, you need to swim to the vehicle manually. Different game modes are available: single player campaign, multiplayer, free play, and deathmatch. There is a park designer where you can create your arena and test it with your friends.

The main character's vehicle can also move on land. The animal will receive points for all useful actions. The score is in the upper left corner of the screen. In addition to typical skateboarding tricks, points are awarded for 180-degree mid-air flips or riding along the edge of a fence. At first, the user will control a bear named Big Pin, but then the team will expand. The character has a pistol in his arsenal. He will use it to eliminate opponents.
