The "Z-ZONE" Mechanic

A central tactical element is the "Z-ZONE." By consuming a gauge, players can activate this special circle around their aircraft. Items caught within the Z-ZONE's radius are transformed into high-scoring items, crucial for maximizing your score. Recent updates have refined this system, for instance, preventing Z-ZONE activation in unnecessary situations.

Multiple Game Modes

"ZAKESTA-Z" offers three distinct game modes to cater to different playstyles and challenge preferences

• NORMAL: The standard game experience.
• ZOGEN: A mode where the game's "rank" (difficulty scaling) changes dynamically, offering a more adaptive challenge.
• ZUTTOZ: An ultra-hard mode where the game's rank is fixed at its highest level from the start, providing the ultimate test for veteran players.
• V mode (Nu mode): A newer addition that changes Z-ZONE mechanics, allowing it to destroy normal enemy bullets and destructible bullets, which then release items. It also impacts hidden character appearance and Z-ZONE gauge recovery.
