Players assume the role of The Burnt One, an enigmatic figure who forms a bond with a small, luminescent creature called Potboy. The world is engulfed in perpetual darkness following the sun's disappearance.
Your main goal is to safeguard Potboy's flame, the sole source of light and a critical defense against the terrifying monsters hiding in the shadows. Together, The Burnt One and Potboy set off on a quest to ascend Moon Mountain in hopes of restoring light to the world.
